Church as Mystery Babylon
Some people believe that Church is mystery babylon.
There is some basis for that.
Churches are generally 501c3, which makes them tied to the government in a sense.
Also churches are often worldly.
Also there exist writings decades old about that theosophy is to be introduced through the churches.
Also this idea that the catholic church is mystery babylon could be extended to that church is mystery babylon simply because of that church today is a bit similar to the catholic church or that there is a restoration movement and churches are aligning themselves through the world council of churches with the catholic church.
Why is this important?
(Revelation of John 18:4 [KJV]) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Well it says that we should get out of mystery babylon that we receive not of her plagues. So that could mean that we should leave the churches and not enter their buildings again.
I personally believe that Mystery Babylon is a spiritual place. So in that sense part of it could be in church but also in other places.
