Do no evil
Intro
This is not an eternal salvation issue but it is strongly recommended for a believe to do no evil or to do no harm.
Ecclesiasticus 7:1
“Do no evil, so shall no harm come unto thee.”
(Romans 12:17 [KJV]) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Some people will justify doing evil in order that good may come. That is not how things work.
(Romans 3:7-8 [KJV])
[7] For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
[8] And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
You fullfill the law when you do no harm.
(Romans 13:10 [KJV]) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
