Let us do evil that good may come

Romans 3:5-10 KJV
[5] But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) 
[6] God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? 
[7] For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? 
[8] And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
[9] What then? are we better than they ? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 
[10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

So Paul and the other believers are being slanderously reported to say “let us do evil that good may come”.

Slanderously reported means that they didn’t say that.

But who would slanderously report you of saying such a thing. A work Salvationist would, someone that thinks you can be saved by following the law.

This doesn’t mean that we should do evil things. It means that eternal salvation is not by good works, which a work Salvationist would claim and a work Salvationists damnation is just. Because he has another gospel and has not been eternally saved.

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 KJV
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 
[5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

The gospel is hid to them that are lost.

1 Corinthians 1:17-31 KJV
[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 
[18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 
[19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 
[20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 
[21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 
[22] For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 
[23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 
[24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 
[25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 
[26] For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called : 
[27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 
[28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 
[29] That no flesh should glory in his presence. 
[30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: [31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Romans 1:16-17 KJV
[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 
[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
