Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh

(Leviticus 19:28 [KJV]) Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

But does it apply today. Some people say it doesn't because we are living in the new testament era now. But what does Jesus say?

(Matthew 5:17-20 [KJV])
[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus says that the law still stands and that we should both do and teach the law. If we don't teach it, then we are the least in the kingdom of heaven, strive to not be that.

Doing the law is not an eternal salvation issue. Its about rewards in heaven and blessings here on earth.

(Deuteronomy 11:26-28 [KJV])
 [26] Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
[27] A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
[28] And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Paul also agrees with that all scripture is good for teaching in rightiousness, reproof and correction.

(II Timothy 3:16 [KJV]) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The new testament is above the old but that doesn't mean that the old testament is done away with.

So what is a cutting in the flesh for the dead? The COVID Vaccine is. Why, because its a cut in the flesh and its not Christ that promotes this vaccine, its promoted by the lost world.

Update

This is a good video on how vaccinations work[1]
