The Millstone Is Coming: America and the Rise of Mystery Babylon

We are watching the collapse of a civilization that once claimed to be based on justice, liberty, and truth. But when those foundational elements are gone—when due process is openly discarded, when truth is redefined to suit political agendas, and when the justice system becomes a weapon—then we are no longer living in a republic. We are witnessing the rise of something else. Something foretold. Something called Mystery Babylon.

The Erosion of Due Process

Under President Trump, the United States has seen alarming moves away from due process. Deportations have been carried out not only against illegal immigrants, but even U.S. citizens are now being discussed as candidates for expulsion to foreign prisons. In a recorded moment, Trump openly admitted he was looking into sending violent homegrown criminals to El Salvador's notorious mega-prison.

"If it's a homegrown criminal, I have no problem. We're studying the laws right now... If we can do that, that's good."

This is not justice. This is tribunal logic. Guilt by category. Deportation by executive whim. The judiciary is being neutered, court decisions ignored, and executive orders used as unilateral tools of control.

The Courts Turn to Theater

The trial of Alex Jones revealed another layer of this descent. $1.5 billion in damages were levied not because he physically harmed anyone, but because of words. Defamation, yes—but the scale? Monumental. Symbolic. Meant to destroy. And with limited ability to defend himself, some cases ending in default judgments, what unfolded was not a trial, but a message.

What was that message? Speak against the system, and we will financially annihilate you.

The Grieving Father Silenced

Jeff Metcalf, father of murdered teenager Austin Metcalf, was removed from a public press conference organized by activists supporting the accused killer. He broke no law. He disrupted no one. Yet police were called because his presence "contradicted the narrative."

Public mourning itself has now become political. When grief is policed, when the sorrow of a parent is treated as a threat to ideology, we have moved into dangerous spiritual territory. One where only approved emotions are allowed, and lawful presence becomes "offensive" depending on who is watching.

Secrecy as Sovereignty

Trump has also boasted of secret weapons, technologies no one knows about but which are supposedly the most powerful in the world. But nothing is shown. Nothing is named. It's a theater of power without accountability. The message again: We have the power. Don’t question it.

But justice is based on evidence, process, and truth—not shadowy claims. Once a society accepts that leaders can act without proof, based only on fear and declarations, we are no longer under the rule of law—we are under the rule of intimidation.

The Pattern of Mystery Babylon

Scripture gives us chilling insight into a future power called Mystery Babylon. A global system drunk with the blood of saints. A place of merchants, deception, sorceries, and manipulation. It sits proud, rich, untouchable—until judgment comes suddenly and utterly:

"And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all." — Revelation 18:21

America now looks like the daughter of Babylon. When justice is lost, when courts become weapons, when mourning is criminalized, when the strong rewrite truth, and when the state and media speak in one voice—then we have left civilization behind. What remains is a great, seductive system built on lies, and destined for sudden ruin.

All that is left now... is for the angel to throw the millstone.
