Usage
Place {{Lead too long|date=July 2026}} at the top of articles with more than four paragraphs in their lead section, or articles that have an inordinate amount of content in the lead section.
Notes
- This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia introduction cleanup.

A banner to indicate that a lead section of article should be reduced, as it is longer than what is recommended, relative to the length of the article.
