Pearl:Shun idlenesse, and ill company

The bible tells us to shun idleness and ill company in 2 thess 3:6-15.

He craueth their prayers for himselfe, 3 testifieth what confidence hee hath in them, 5 maketh request to God in their behalfe, 6 giueth them diuers precepts, especially to shun idlenesse, and ill company, 16 And last of all concludeth with prayer and salutation. — AV1611, Chapter summary 2 Thessalonians Chapter 3
[6] Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

[7] For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

[8] Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

[9] Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

[10] For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

[11] For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

[12] Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

[13] But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

[14] And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

[15] Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

— KJV, II Thessalonians 3:6-15

Its interesting here that it doesnt say to not work for money but rather to shun idleness. There are a lot of things one can do even when you dont work for money, to not fall into idleness.

Also idleness is kind of defined in [11] as working not at all.

Ill company is defined in [6] as those who walk disorderly not after the traditions which Paul has preached. Behaving disorderly [7] seems to be connected to eat any mans bread for nought [8].

This is why it can be so important to terminate membership in any church and stop drinking coffee with them if you are not working for them or tithing to them. Because churches are public buildings so they cannot through you out legally. So you get in a situation where they could think that you make them sin by entering the church and drinking coffee with them and eating there cookies with them. So stop entering there churches if you dont tithe or work for them.

Or if you do enter, dont eat there cookies and be quiet (dont answer there questions) [12] If they shame you [14] dont shame them back, better to not say anything [12].

Also if you talk about that they shame you or talk about that something is not nice in the church they might consider you to be busybodies [11] and that might even further make them think that they are right.

But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. — KJV, I Corinthians 12:31-13:1

Yes charity is a more excellent way than to covet the best spiritual gifts.
