Lordshippers use this verse to promote lordship salvation and that everyone has to have something tangible to contribute with to the meeting when they come together.

(I Corinthians 14:26 [KJV]) How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

However looking carefully on the verse we see that Paul is actually rebuking them. He is not approving of that everyone should have a tongue, a revelation, an interpretation, a psalm etc when they come together. He is rebuking it, insinuating that that is not edifying.

Jesus Christ should be the basis for fellowship not contributions to the meeting.

If there is no trust to start with there is no point to meet in the first place.
