How to Be Simply Saved

The Bad News

All of us are sinners. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Because of our sins, we deserve punishment in hell.

The Good News

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for your sins. He was buried and rose again, offering you eternal life in heaven as a free gift.

Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

How Am I Saved?

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.

I believe that you have to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ regarding your eternal life, not regarding something worldly like long life, prosperity, or success in life, but regarding your life after death—your eternal life. You also have to be aware that there is such a thing as life after death.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31)

Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone.

Once Saved, Always Saved

Jesus promises eternal security to those who believe in Him:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (John 6:47)
