Intro
There has been a discussion among christians whether the heart in the bible really means brain.
The first occurance of heart in the kjv is
(Genesis 6:5 [KJV])
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
This can be used to try to prove that heart means brain because it says thoughts of his heart, right and hearts cant think but brains can.
But now there exists studies, articles about that those who receive a heart transplant take up the interests of the donor[1] [2] [3] [4]. Indicating that hearts might be able to think or that use of the word heart in the kjv should be taken literally. Some might call it cellular memory or DNA memory or whatever.
Jeremiah 17:10
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
