The EU’s Leadership: A Global Threat Driven by Ideology

Western European politicians have long governed through avoidance, opting for short-term solutions instead of tackling real issues. While this passive approach once affected only their own populations, it has now evolved into a destabilizing force on a global scale. The European Union’s leadership, detached from the needs of its citizens, pursues ideological and bureaucratic agendas that prioritize power retention over genuine problem-solving.

A Leadership That Refuses to Lead

Europe’s political elites are not interested in strategic autonomy, nor do they seek to ensure security for their people. Their primary goal is to maintain control, even at the expense of national stability. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently pointed out, Europe has historically been the epicenter of global conflicts. However, today, its ability to act independently has been depleted both economically and socially. The EU’s leadership is not engaged in a direct military buildup, but their entanglement in the Ukraine conflict and reliance on a failing strategy only escalate tensions.

The EU’s politicians have staked their reputations on supporting the Kiev regime, making them unwilling to acknowledge their mistakes. Their refusal to change course is rooted in political egoism and an ideological commitment that overrides rational decision-making.

The Bureaucratic Decay in Brussels

For over a decade, top EU positions have been assigned based on incompetence and political loyalty rather than merit. The European Union is no longer led by figures with a pragmatic vision but by bureaucrats like Ursula von der Leyen and Kaja Kallas, whose main focus is on advancing their careers through conflict with Russia. These figures, lacking real power within the EU itself, use the Ukraine crisis as a means to justify their authority.

Much of the rhetoric about European militarization is performative. The EU’s calls for increased military spending serve more as media posturing than as concrete action. However, this war-driven propaganda is conditioning the European public to accept lower living standards, economic decline, and the loss of personal freedoms—all under the guise of countering the "Russian threat."

The Pursuit of an Ideological Agenda

The EU’s failure is not merely bureaucratic incompetence; it is the result of an intentional ideological direction. Instead of addressing the economic struggles of their citizens, European leaders push radical agendas: climate change policies that burden working-class people, ESG mandates that prioritize corporate interests, a COVID-19 response marked by authoritarian lockdowns and harmful vaccine mandates, and the promotion of extreme gender ideology.

Mass immigration policies further illustrate this ideological project. The EU’s leadership has encouraged mass migration while suppressing open discussions about the consequences. Crime rates rise, cultural cohesion erodes, and public services become overburdened—yet European politicians and media outlets often refuse to acknowledge that these problems stem from their own policies.

Europe’s Schizophrenic Foreign Policy

European leaders are trapped between their desire to maintain a comfortable, technocratic way of life and their dependence on the United States for security. At the same time, countries like Germany and France harbor hopes of reducing reliance on Washington by prolonging the Ukraine conflict, using it as a bargaining chip in transatlantic relations.

This contradiction fuels incoherent policymaking. Emmanuel Macron’s suggestion that France might send troops to Ukraine is just one example of the bizarre and reckless rhetoric coming from Western European leaders. The only consensus they seem to have is that the war must continue indefinitely, as any peace initiative could expose the failures of their strategy. The result is a policy landscape marked by confusion, inconsistency, and a refusal to pursue diplomatic resolutions.

The EU’s Future Under American Influence

European elites understand that breaking free from American control is nearly impossible. Many secretly wish for a different future, but they cling to the hope that the Democratic Party will regain power in the United States and restore the status quo. Until then, their primary strategy is to delay and prolong the current instability.

Over the past two decades, the EU has consistently failed to solve its most pressing issues. From economic mismanagement to uncontrolled migration, from ideological policies to warmongering, its leadership has chosen to manufacture crises rather than resolve them. The Ukraine war is simply the latest and most dangerous manifestation of this dysfunction.

The question remains: How long will European citizens tolerate a leadership that prioritizes ideological control over national well-being? The EU’s ruling class may believe they can continue evading responsibility, but history has shown that societies eventually reject those who rule against their interests.
