2000 years prophecy
Intro
Blindness in part is happened to Israel (ethnic Jews in the nation of Israel, Rom 11:25).
The Jews will be made alive after 2 days (Hosea 6:2) and 2 days is as 2000 years with the Lord (2 Peter 3:8).
But what will happen when these 2000 years have past. Some people believe that that is when Jesus second coming will be. But it might be so that that is when Israel is going to become the head of the nations. That is when the tribulation will start. And the tribulation will be on the nations, not on Israel. Then after the tribulation Jesus returns.
Scripture
(Hosea 6:2 [KJV]) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight
(II Peter 3:8 [KJV]) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(Romans 11:25 [KJV]) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Calculations
Calculation 1
Assuming Jesus died on the cross between 27 and 33 AD. Adding 2000 years to that would mean that Jesus will return at some time between 2027 AD and 2033 AD.
Calculation 2
If we use prophetic years, they have 360 days instead of 365.
2000x5=10000 (days that have to be removed to account for 360 day years)
10000/365=27.4 (for 2000 years these days would correspond to 27.4 years to be removed)
2000-27=1973 years (That would mean that it is 1973 years with 365 day years)
1973+70 = 2043 (fall of Jerusalem 70 AD plus 1973 years becomes 2043)
That would mean that Jesus Christ returns in 2043 AD.
Calculation 3
Lets say that the 2000 years are counted from the fall of Jerusalem and its solar years.
Fall of Jerusalem 70 AD. 2000 years + 70 = 2070 AD.
So that would mean that Jesus would come back 2070 AD.
Calculation 4
Lets say its talking about solar years and its counted from the stoning of Stephen. Why could this be the case? Because one way to interpret the 70 weeks Daniel prophecy is that the 70 weeks ended with the stoning of Stephen and the midpoint of that week was when Jesus was crucified.
So the stoning of Stephen was 3.5 years then after the crucifixion of Christ. Jesus crucified 27-33 AD. Stephen stoned 31.5-36.5 AD.
So that would mean that Jesus would come back 2031.5 - 2036.5 AD.
