KJV discussion 20250916 part 2

Overview

This discussion focuses on the definition of the Gospel in the King James Bible, rejecting any idea of a “crossless gospel.” It explains that believing on Jesus’ name necessarily includes faith in His death, burial, and resurrection, as taught in Scripture. The speaker contrasts biblical salvation with moral culture, noting that Christian morals may benefit life but cannot save. Illustrations from Swedish culture are used to highlight the distinction between good advice and the Gospel. The talk concludes that only being born again through the Spirit secures eternal life.

Summary

  • The Gospel defined: 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 establishes the Gospel as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Any version of the gospel that leaves out the cross is false.[1]
  • Believing on Jesus’ name: John 11 shows that when Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life,” genuine belief in His name includes belief in His cross and resurrection—making a so-called “crossless belief” impossible.[2]
  • Morality vs salvation: Swedish cultural examples (e.g., Astrid Lindgren’s *Saltkråkan*) demonstrate admirable values, but such morals cannot save; they are merely “good advice” for temporal life.
  • Necessity of new birth: John 3 emphasizes that unless one is born again by the Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Morals or cultural Christianity do not equate to salvation.
  • Charity and conduct: While charity may extend life or improve society, it is not the Gospel and cannot secure eternal life.

Okay, so i'm going to Do a little talk here about the crossless gospel and salvation And The gospel in the kingdom's bible. It's clearly shown in It's clearly defined in the kingdom's bible what the gospel is that it's Um 1 corinthians 15 verse 1 to 4 is a gospel Gospel It says so in the king's bible so it cannot be refuted that that's a gospel But it also says even Those who believe on his name And his name is jesus christ And they will eventually come to the realization that the the the story of jesus christ that jesus christ died for For For your sins on the cross was buried and resurrected on the third day, which is the gospel And If they believe on his name they believe in jesus christ And so they get saved. So the crossless gospel is It has an ambiguous nature to it and The ambiguous nature of the cross's gospel is that uh It does not necessarily mean That people get saved because they can misinterpret things there are for example a lot of people who believe in christian values and christian, uh and culture like you have Um Salt croaker, uh, it it is a story by astrid lingren about A Basically a family utopia It's a an archipelago island where they are Boatsman and salt croaker and these people and it's basically a uh An utopic or or It's a Idyll, it would be the swedish word But it's basically a story about a family that is very beautiful beautifully told and shown it's very very So in a sense it is about cultural values and christian moral values Salt croak and by astrid lingren And astrid lingren Was not saved She was not a believer in the lord jesus christ and she's probably burning in the lake of fire at this point in time Because she's dead And Uh, she wrote this very wonderful story So that's the point here that you don't get to heaven by by christian moral values and uh christian culture Uh And the gospel is not that the gospel is not christian moral values the gospel is defined in the king james bible and But there is a story in the king james bible it's john 11 I think where they talk about Uh, it's martha martha that talks to jesus christ and she says something like uh Jesus says I am the resurrection and the life And if you basically do a definitional, uh analysis of of this, uh, you will realize that If you believe in jesus christ, and he is the resurrection and the life Then you are basically believe the gospel when you believe in jesus christ So the crossless gospel Is not crossless in that sense because it's embedded in jesus the person jesus christ Is the resurrection and the life embedded so Uh And it says even to those who believe on his name also But of course there can be people who claim that they have believed on jesus christ and what they really believed in was the christian cultural values and moral values that jesus christ, uh talks about in uh In the gospels and what also paul talks about in the new testament There are a lot of christian moral values In the bible in the king james bible And these values will not get you to heaven so Because that's that's the whole point with with this that it's not a saving faith To believe in christian moral values or to believe in Salt croca The story by australia.

It's not a saving faith So you will burn in hell you will burn in lake of fire. It's only the gospel that saves but the gospel is in a sense embedded into his name because he says In john 11. I am the resurrection and the life He that believeth in me Shall live forever or something like that.

He says when he talks to martha So you see there that there we have the gross crossless gospel, which isn't really crossless Because he says he is the resurrection on the life. So believing in jesus christ is not a crossless gospel but believing christian moral values And christian culture or the the teachings of jesus or something That's not the gospel Even though they are good advice, you know, jesus comes with good advice, but good advice That doesn't get you to heaven, you know If you don't believe Uh in jesus christ, you will not get to heaven that's as simple it is and um so believing for example that that In the king jay's bible you have it says charity Is better is is the right way it says in some place It talks before just before it talks about Uh seek that you may prophesy or something but charity is the best way or something it says then the beginning or next chapter So the so you can believe in charity, you know, and do do give a lot of stuff to people But it won't get you to heaven to do that You see so that's not the gospel but it's still good advice It says in the uh, old testament. It says for example that in the proverbs, I think He that hated covetousness with prolonged will prolong his life So it's good advice To be charitable, it's good advice, okay, but it doesn't necessarily mean that That That or it doesn't mean that it will get you to heaven you see Jesus gives a lot of good advice and the entire king jay's bible is is is full of good advice and wisdom For example how to live a long life on earth and how to the right things to do and what not to do and so on so the king jay's bible has loads of good advice and wisdom But that won't take you to heaven you see That's why it talks about in john 3 jesus says You must be born again Not just born of water, but also of spirit And born of water is what they refer to there is when someone is born physically From a woman's womb Is born that's born of water But born of the spirit they they're talking about the spiritual rebirth This shows that jesus says that You have to be born again to get into heaven Jesus says that very clearly it cannot be Uh Denied if you're believing that the king has published the word of god You cannot deny the fact that you have to be born again to get to heaven and And that's why someone who says someone who doesn't believe in jesus But might believe a lot in christian moral values Justice and all this stuff That person has not been born again and therefore they won't get to heaven It's that simple and this is something a lot of lost people don't understand Uh, you see The they but that's the that's the truth And this we can Conclude by simply reading the king james bible.

It's all in there. The king james bible is The bible is the most bought book I think or sold book in the world And the bible version that is the most sold in the world It's the king james bible. So And it is the word of god
