Alex Jones on Ted Kaczynski: Fighting "Skynet"

Alex Jones, during a broadcast, discussed the legacy and motivations of Theodore Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber. Jones asserted that Kaczynski participated in CIA mind control programs and, upon learning of elite technocratic plans, became enraged and retreated to the wilderness to carry out attacks against those he believed were involved.

Jones framed Kaczynski as a radical figure resisting the rise of a global surveillance and control grid, comparing this to the fictional "Skynet" from the Terminator films. Jones also labeled Kaczynski as a "real environmentalist," positioning his actions within a broader critique of technological totalitarianism and environmental degradation.

Quote

"And he went on and said, you know, Theodore Kaczynski was in the CIA mind control program and he learned about this plan and got pissed about it and ran off into the woods and tried to plot a plan to kill the people that some of which he knew were involved. You know, people he was in meetings with, people he was getting orders from in the 70s and 80s. By the way, you know everything I said is like on record, right? See, the Unabomber was trying to take out Skynet, folks, he was a real environmentalist."

Context

According to Jones, Kaczynski's actions were not those of a random madman, but rather a deliberate, if extreme, response to real-world agendas of surveillance, technocracy, and population control. Jones repeatedly invoked the "Skynet" metaphor, implying that the same systems of technological control feared by Kaczynski are being implemented in society today.
