Intro

Some say they are rich but they are not because they are not eternally saved and the only true riches is eternal salvation.

(Revelation of John 3:14-22 [KJV])
 [14] And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
[16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
[17] Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
[18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
[19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
[20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
[21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
[22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Buy true riches, that is eternal salvation, not the riches of this world like gold, property, status etc.

(Ecclesiastes 10:20 [KJV])
Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.

Its true that we should not curse the rich, or demonize the rich, but it is not demonizing the rich to tell someone that they are going to hell. It is being a true prophet. It is prophesying regarding someones eternal life that is lost.

(Matthew 19:16-30 [KJV])
[16] And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
[17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
[18] He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
[19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[20] The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
[21] Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
[22] But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
[23] Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[24] And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
[25] When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
[26] But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
[27] Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
[28] And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
[29] And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[30] But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

The rich man is wise in his own conceit.

(Proverbs 18:11 [KJV]) The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.

Conceit means fantasy or imagination. So he is rich in his own mind but he does not have true riches.

(Proverbs 28:11 [KJV]) The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

The rich man thinks that he is wise but the poor that has understanding searcheth him out.

Also mocking the poor does not come from the Holy Ghost.

(Proverbs 17:5 [KJV]) Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
(James 2:6 [KJV]) But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
(Ecclesiastes 9:14-16 [KJV])
[14] There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:
[15] Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
[16] Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
(Proverbs 14:20-21 [KJV])
[20] The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
[21] He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Balaam was trying to make Gods people fornicate for money and he was rebuked by a dumb ass and later slayn with the sword.

(II Peter 2:15-16 [KJV])
 [15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
Joshua 13:22
Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
