Intro

Joseph of Arimathaea was a secret disciple of Jesus that didnt publicly state that he was a disciple of Jesus because of fear of the Jews.

(John 19:38 [KJV])
And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

So there exist secret disciples, like covert disciples or disciples that dont publicly want to admit that they are disciple maybe because of fear of persecution.

So its not just because of angels that it can be good to show hospitality towards strangers. There exists also secret disciples. Maybe people who want to do good deeds to the Lord Jesus or to his disciples.

How to deal with a secret disciples ?

Allow their discipleship to remain a secret and welcome them as fellow believers.
