The Great Illusion
The Great Illusion
Chapter 1: A Shattered Reality
Luke Fisher sat in his dimly lit study, the glow of a flickering candle casting long shadows on the walls cluttered with books, notes, and maps of prophetic significance. A dedicated KJV believer and devout Christian, Luke had spent countless nights immersed in Scripture and the words of men like Luc Montagnier and Ted Kaczynski—the latter a name most in society dared not invoke with respect, yet Luke saw him differently.
"The end is drawing near," he muttered to himself, flipping through the worn pages of his Bible. His finger paused at the Book of Revelation, where the seals of judgment were broken one by one. Outside, the world rumbled, both literally and metaphorically, as nations teetered on the brink of collapse and society spiraled into chaos. But amidst this darkness, there was one voice on the airwaves that provided hope for millions—or so they thought.
Chapter 2: The Trump Delusion
In the far corner of Luke’s room, a dusty radio blared InfoWars’ signature intro. Alex Jones’ voice boomed, filled with manic energy and grandiose claims.
"Fourteen days into the triumphant return of Donald John Trump, and the globalists are shaking! Trump and Elon Musk have shattered their stranglehold, and victory is within reach!" Jones cackled, rattling off conspiracies and painting a vivid picture of an imminent golden age.
Luke leaned back, eyes narrowed. "He’s selling illusions to the desperate."
Jones’ rhetoric had grown even more extreme since Trump’s return. To many, it sounded like prophecy fulfilled, a man chosen by God to restore the nation. But Luke knew better. The KJV warned of false hope, of those who would proclaim peace where there was none. The Great Tribulation wasn’t averted—it was here.
Chapter 3: The Prophet of the Industrial Collapse
Ted Kaczynski’s manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future, lay open on Luke’s desk. Its words resonated with him in ways Jones’ ramblings never could. Kaczynski had seen what few had—that technology was a cage, stripping man of dignity, autonomy, and purpose. Though written decades earlier, it felt more prophetic with each passing day.
"The system isn’t reformable," Luke whispered, quoting Kaczynski’s warning. "The collapse is inevitable, and the cost will be unimaginable."
He scribbled notes in the margins, comparing them with verses from Revelation: the beast system rising, economic collapse, and societal breakdown. Kaczynski hadn’t known it, but much of what he described aligned perfectly with end-times prophecy.
Chapter 4: A Nation Deceived
The streets of Luke’s small town buzzed with an eerie mix of celebration and tension. Trump supporters paraded down Main Street, waving flags and holding signs proclaiming, "Victory Over the Globalists!" They believed they had won, that Trump’s return signaled a new era of prosperity. But Luke knew their triumph was hollow.
"When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them," he quoted from 1 Thessalonians.
At the heart of the celebration, Alex Jones himself had come to speak. Luke watched from the shadows as Jones took the stage, his booming voice captivating the crowd.
"We’ve broken their system! The Federal Reserve, the Department of Education—all of it is crumbling under Trump’s leadership. This is the rebirth of liberty!"
Luke shook his head. Blind fools. They couldn’t see the storm on the horizon, the judgment that awaited them.
Chapter 5: The Collapse Begins
Weeks passed, and the illusion of victory began to fade. The economy, which Jones had claimed would rebound under Trump’s leadership, collapsed spectacularly. Banks shut their doors, food riots broke out, and electricity became a luxury.
Luke walked through the desolate streets, Bible in hand, as chaos erupted around him. Looters smashed windows, families huddled in fear, and once-proud patriots begged for scraps.
At a nearby church, a small group of believers gathered in prayer. They had seen through the lies of Jones and the false hope of Trump. They knew that no man could save them—only Christ could.
"We are living in the days of Revelation," Luke told them. "Ted Kaczynski was right about the collapse of industrial society, but it’s even deeper than he realized. This isn’t just societal breakdown; it’s divine judgment."
The group nodded solemnly. They had prepared as best they could, but nothing could truly shield them from what was coming.
Chapter 6: The Great Tribulation
The world descended into the prophesied chaos. Earthquakes, famines, wars, and disease ravaged the planet. Luke watched as once-mighty cities crumbled, their skyscrapers now tombstones marking humanity’s hubris.
He found himself in the wilderness, living off the land, much like the early believers who had fled persecution. Ted Kaczynski’s warnings echoed in his mind: the system would collapse under its own weight, and those who depended on it would be the first to fall.
"Come out of her, my people," he whispered, quoting Revelation 18:4. "That ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
The world had ignored the warnings—both from prophets like Kaczynski and from Scripture itself. Now they reaped the consequences.
Chapter 7: No Savior but One
One night, as Luke gazed at the stars, he thought of the millions who had placed their faith in Trump, in Alex Jones, in the promise of a golden age. They had believed that man could fix what man had broken. But they were wrong.
He opened his Bible to Revelation 13, reading of the beast and its mark. The world was ripe for deception, and the Antichrist would soon seize power. Luke prayed for strength, knowing that the worst was yet to come.
"They wanted a kingdom without the King," he whispered. "But there is no peace without Christ."
As dawn broke, Luke packed his belongings and continued his journey. The Great Tribulation was upon them, but he would endure. His faith was in God, not man.
Chapter 8: A Final Warning
In the ruins of what was once a thriving city, Luke left behind a note, pinned to the door of an abandoned church:
"To those who find this: Trust not in kings or rulers. The system of man will always fail. Seek the truth in the Word of God, for only through Christ can you be saved from what is coming. Revelation speaks plainly. Heed its warnings before it is too late."
With that, Luke disappeared into the wilderness, leaving behind the broken dreams of a nation and the eternal truth of Scripture.
