Intro

I believe that the pre-trib rapture is a creation of fiction and the imagination and a kind of reality avoidance syndrome.

Typical Pre-tribber

The pre-tribber might have watched the movie left behind or they have trusted scholars rather than read their king james bible themselves to come to conclusions based on comparing scripture with scripture.

They might have trusted what their fellow christian believed

(II Corinthians 10:12 [KJV]) For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

or they have bought some book on theology or listened to some favorite YouTube preacher who others seem to believe is correct on theology.

They are into the pretrib rapture.

I agree that there will be no pretrib rapture. But there seems to be a post-trib rapture.

Individual rapture

I am not saying that it is impossible for a believer to be individually raptured up to heaven similarly to how Jesus and Elijah went up to heaven. I am just saying that this idea of a corporate rapture of the body of Christ before the great tribulation, there is no scripture proving it.

Enoch

What about being translated like Enoch?

(Genesis 5:21-24 [KJV])
[21] And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
[22] And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
[23] And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
[24] And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
(Hebrews 11:5 [KJV]) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

We can see that as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, God has already translated us.

(Colossians 1:13 [KJV]) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

So a good way to answer those who claim you have grieved the holy ghost is

I have already been raptured.
