Zechariah 12 Battle

Intro

Zechariah 12 describes a battle which starts with a siege against both Judah and Jerusalem(Zech 12:2). But the LORD is going to save Judah (Zech 12:7), the feeble shall be as David (Zech 12:8). The LORD will seek to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem (Zech 12:9). The inhabitants of Jerusalem is going to receive the holy ghost (Zech 12:10). Two thirds of the people in the land shall die (Zech 13:8). All nations shall be gathered against Jerusalem (Zech 14:2). The LORD shall stand upon the mount of olives (Zech 14:4). The LORD shall smite all the people that come against Jerusalem with a plague that will cause their flesh to consume away while they stand on their feet (Zech 14:12).

This battle could be the next end times event that comes.

USA is weakened and no longer maybe the hammer of the whole earth. That is USA might not interfere if a major war starts in the middle east.

The Arabs might decide that this is the time to attack Israel. If they all decide to attack at the same time this could be Zecharia 12 battle.

But as we can see in scripture the LORD is going to interfere in this battle and cause all the people that come against Jerusalem to die.

This might be when greater Israel is formed. Greater Israel is the area between the Nile and the Euphrates.

Then is the time for the believers to travel to greater Israel. You cannot travel there now. The area between the Nile and Euphrates is mainly sharia law at this point and very dangerous. But after this battle if greater Israel is restored then is the time for the believers to travel there. This is the second exodus described in the bible (Ezekiel 34:12).

Then the beast system is going to come on the rest of the world and the only safe place for believers will be greater Israel.
