The mark of worship

Intro

I have been thinking more about this with the mark in Revelation 13. Before I have been thinking that it must be a physical mark like a microchip that connected you to a global digital buy and sell system such as the AI infrastructure as the beast system.

But there is strong opposition to implants being necessary for buying and selling also the use of implants is not necessary from a security perspective, in fact it can be worse than other solutions. So the idea that all the world would go along with it might be simply wrong.

Another possible interpretation of Revelation 13 is that the mark is not necessarily a visible or physical mark but maybe more similar to the seal of God put opposite. Like a mark of allegiance or worship of Lucifer and/or the Beast.

I have not yet found any evidence that this interpretation based on scripture could not be true.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

From what you see in Revelation 14:9-10 is that the worship precedes receiving the mark. So maybe worship is central.

It's possible that in the end times there will be an increased polarization between those loyal to Lucifer and those loyal to God and that there will be no middle ground at all, no neutral ground and that this is really what it is talking about.

It's still possible that a digital money like CBDC, programmable money together with AI infrastructure will be used to implement this idea of no buying or selling without the mark. Also with biometrics maybe together with other identification methods. But it doesn't have to be a physical implant in the hand or forehead, that is what I am saying in this article.
