Regarding Energy
Intro
In 2021 an energy crises started with higher electricity prices. Some of it can be traced back to the sanctions against Putin and then his response of stopping the gas flow to Europe.
But some of it can also be caused by the focus on green energy and climate change politics rather than looking in a common sense way on what society needs.
In Sweden there has been warnings of possible power outages during the winter of 2022 2023. The mainstream news have warned[1] that it might be wise to not have too much in your freezer due to possible power outages.
People in Switzerland can get 3 years in Jail for cooking water or knowingly heating their home above 19 degrees celcius[2].
The price of electricity has increased a lot in Europe[3].
People are foraging for firewood in the forest in Germany[4] and those who sell wood in sweden close down their website due to too much demand[5], in other words there is increased demand for wood and alternative heating. Some people in Sweden are considering living in their summer house during winter and burn wood, others sell their house because they cant pay the electricity bill.
The higher electricity prices also have consequences for industry. Industry can have to close down because their business cant pay the expenses of the electricity bill. Other industries raise the prices of their goods to pay the electricity bill causing food inflation and inflation of other things.
There has been warnings of deindustrialization[6][7] in Europe and also of increased social unrest[8].
Some people believe that some people will freeze to death in Europe winter 2022 to 2023.
There are multiple articles indicating that the governments around the world are trying to eliminate methods for the ordinary people to heat their homes that the government cannot control, such as wood stoves[9][10], solar panels[11] and gas[12][13]. If they can freeze you to death by having you only heat your house with centrally controlled heating that they are in control of such as electricity and district heating, then they can control you until they kill you.
Germany is considering banning wood stoves[14].
In Australia the authorities are motivating people with a cash rebate to give over control of their local air conditioning systems to the authorities[15][16] so that the authorities can turn it off now and then.
