Launching an Independent Internet Radio Station

Launching an Independent Internet Radio Station

In an effort to establish a broadcasting platform free from manipulation, censorship, and algorithmic control, I have launched a 24/7 audio broadcasting station at tias.cam. This station is powered by Icecast and is linked from my main website, prophetmattias.com. It offers listeners the opportunity to hear biblical and prophetic content independent of YouTube and other corporate-controlled platforms.

Motivation and Vision

The decision to move away from YouTube was driven by several factors:

  • Censorship and Deplatforming: YouTube actively suppressed prayer-based content during the COVID pandemic, favoring pro-vaccine narratives and Big Pharma.
  • Asymmetric Warfare: Interactions among Christians on YouTube became increasingly toxic, often involving hate and legal threats rather than genuine fellowship.
  • Perception Management: YouTube, owned by Google, manipulates consensus by promoting select content while suppressing others.
  • Lack of Independence: Being on a Big Tech platform means being subject to external control, algorithmic manipulation, and data collection.

Instead of remaining within this ecosystem, I built an autonomous broadcasting channel—granting me full control over content and enabling direct communication with those who value text- and audio-based material.

Why Icecast?

Icecast provides the infrastructure to broadcast audio content 24/7. I can upload pre-recorded messages or, if necessary, stream live. The platform's simplicity and independence make it ideal for global outreach without reliance on surveillance-driven corporations.

You can access the stream at: tias.cam:8443/stream And leave comments or follow updates via: tias.cam

Escaping the YouTube Trap

Many King James Only, faith-alone Christians on YouTube fall into a trap of infighting, ego-driven competition, and public conflict. The result is often a zero-sum environment centered on views and influence, rather than truth or fellowship.

These platforms foster:

  • Ego-Centric Rivalry
  • Legal Hostilities
  • Algorithmic Division

Some users are artificially amplified while others are suppressed. It's like trying to fight the enemy while living on the enemy's mountain—completely out of position.

The Value of Simplicity: Text and Audio

I continue to believe that text is superior. It demands focus, fosters reflection, and appeals to a more thoughtful audience. Audio comes second—it’s useful, especially for those who wish to learn while multitasking.

In contrast, image and video promote surface-level reactions, emotional manipulation, and fame-seeking behavior. They appeal to fast consumers, not spiritual seekers.

Lessons from Dune: A Mirror to Online Dynamics

In Frank Herbert's Dune, Paul Atreides must defeat tribal leaders in ritual combat to gain acceptance. This mirrors YouTube dynamics, where content creators battle each other to rise in a secular hierarchy. This is not fellowship. It is not biblical.

People crave hierarchy, but in doing so, they turn platforms like YouTube into arenas of pride and spiritual decay. This is one reason I stepped away.

Conclusion

This Icecast station is a move toward true independence in digital ministry. Whether I continue it long-term will depend on its fruit. But for now, it's a place where my voice—not my face—can be heard freely and truthfully.

Transcript of the First Audio Broadcast

There exists I think a broadcasting that you can you can pay and you'll be part of this. But the idea here is that I'm gonna have my own broadcasting on the internet where anyone can tune in. And I'm using Icecast for this, an Icecast server which will, so it will actually broadcast an audio 24 hours a day if I have it on.

If I remember to keep it on, yeah. So the idea here is that I'm gonna have, because I have the blog prophetmatthias.com but that's text and I've been, before I've been doing podcasts and I like the idea now of having a radio station because that is basically not on anyone else's platform. Because I've noticed things going on on YouTube which are manipulative and also nasty.

Manipulative, actually hate based I think among Christians. And you know you can be saved and be hateful. So it's not necessarily, you know, you can be saved and try to win again.

What I've noticed with YouTube and why I left YouTube, one of the reasons I left YouTube was that, well the first reason was that they were for the COVID vaccine and you were not allowed to speak like pray to get healed. You were not allowed to have that kind of, they put that so they're actually warning and deplatforming people based on big pharma and things like that. But the other reason I left YouTube was that there is asymmetric warfare going on.

There is nastiness going on. And I feel, well what's wrong with nastiness? Well I felt when it come to YouTube and the nastiness that was there that, that as long as I was on YouTube I would be in their mercy kind of, or in their situation. Because they own the platform.

So I want to get away from that situation and that's why I've started this radio broadcasting station on the internet. And it's located at tias.com, tias.cam, t-i-a-s dot c-a-m. And it's linked to from prophetmatthias.com. And basically I can do live, if I want I could do live streaming there.

But I can also upload audios and let them stream continuously. And at this point I'm uploading audios because, you know, if I had a lot of traffic it could be more interesting with live streaming. But when I have little traffic, uploading an audio is more suitable.

And what's interesting about this is that there will actually just be one audio playing all the time, right? Because it's a radio. So they will just have one audio on it really that's playing. Before when I did podcasts I had maybe a hundred audios that were there that people could listen to.

I had no statistics so I don't know if they listen to it or not. But I've noticed things going on on YouTube which are manipulative, very tough. I don't think really benefits the Christian life and so on.

But there are some Christians there who are, you know, very focused on winning on YouTube. And YouTube is still used, you know. YouTube has a major influence on the internet because of that it's owned by Google and Google is the biggest site on the internet.

So they can amplify anything that happens on YouTube. So when you enter search and you get it, you know. So they can create consensus by just being able to give more attention to something or less attention to other things and so on.

So they have consensus manipulation YouTube. But still people stick to YouTube obviously because it's free and it's a very good platform from a technical perspective. It works very well.

You can just a few clicks and you're streaming. But as I said it's a trap and it's the trap that you can think about most things that are free are really not to benefit you. If they're giving it to you free it's really not for your best.

It's maybe for the greater good of humanity they claim like the COVID vaccine for example. It was not for your benefit but they claimed it was to help someone, some elderly person maybe. But the truth is these elderly weren't helped by the COVID vaccine.

So they lie so they can lie. So with this freeness it seems the right way to go to take that which is free. But there are Bible verses who warn against this if not from the table of the evil man or something.

He that has an evil eye you will puke it up later because his heart is not with you. And this is what happens when you try to be generous or helpful. I mean this is what happens when you take gifts from evil men and so on or eat at the table of an evil man.

You get the consequences for it and it's not going to be nice for you. And I think it's the same with Google actually and Facebook and all this. People are sitting there and they don't know what went wrong really but everyone else is sitting there so it must be right.

They're creating consensus reality but it's not to help you. Anyway so the idea is to have a broadcasting platform on the internet for audios that this will be reachable basically from the entire world. Right and so I can make some broadcast and people if they want can listen to it and they get to hear my voice and it's a bit different from written stuff.

I've been writing stuff for a long time now. I've been writing. I have more than 5 000 pages at the moment at prophetmatthias.com but most many of these are bible and stuff so it's not really I've written it.

But the idea is to open up a broadcasting platform because I don't want to use YouTube and YouTube is the natural choice you end up with. You end up doing YouTube videos and then you end up in this dynamic with it's actually King James only faith alone christians that exist all over the world really. It's a quite a small community but they start subscribing to each other and start listening to each other and eventually it becomes more hateful really.

It is not fellowship and it becomes they try to supplant each other and it can also go legally the people threatening legal action against each other and it's just not fellowship and I don't see the point with it and the point I think is that they stuck because they have this broadcasting platform what are you going to do and that's why I'm sorting out my situation with having my own broadcasting platform and an internet radio station you could claim it is at tias.com that anyone can check out if they want and it's not on YouTube. So it will hopefully give me this distance which causes perspective because on YouTube it's a lot of ignition going on and there are AI algorithms going on to feed certain information to certain people and so on and some of these people will get triggered some of them have hate and some of them will start attacking some other person which they think they can win against because they're tired of losing or something and or they just think they're better or whatever so it becomes this it's not fellowship okay and it's a bit stupid actually there is a similar situation with in the Dune movie the Dune by Frank Herbert there is a situation where a polar treatise is going to become the Mahadi or something and because of that he has to kill Stilgar and and every other imam or what they call the Mahadi or I don't know what they call any other leader of any siege of any desert group because they can that's the only way you see it has to be a knife fight to death because otherwise because people don't respect leadership without you know physical strength and a fight to death so you won't have leadership unless these polar trees go around and kill all the leaders of every tribe and obviously that can be seen as a brain drain or a leadership drain ritual because you know you're going to kill all the other good people so polar treatise doesn't want it this way so he decides he's the duke and then he does some miracles I think and they accept him as duke now what is the allegory here the allegory is that this is what goes on on youtube there is a infighting going on and there's a loser and a winner and in the end youtube becomes more secularized and less about it's not about fellowship first of all and I mean it's one thing if lost people are interested in listening to the bible that could be positive but when it's infighting between believers that is really and I think there are people who want an hierarchical structure I think people want someone you know they want to uplift someone and make someone else fall and it's a bit like a computer game and they don't see people as people it's just not very human and there are certain people who have a reason to be on youtube but there are also a lot of people who simply it's not it's not a wise decision maybe to be there and these platforms are are not set up to your benefit that's what I realized that youtube isn't set up for your benefit it's owned by google and google is uh you know deep state so you're sitting on their turf so to speak you're sitting on the deep state mountain trying to you know it's like if you were sitting on the deep state mountain trying to fight the deep state you know and they might think well well yeah they don't realize what what a situation they're sitting in it's not good but I think many of these youtubers actually want influence and they want traffic and they want fame and they want to reach far and actually youtube does reach far because of google that promotes it so youtube is maybe for people who want everyone to see their face or everyone to hear their audios or whatever they're looking for for getting a lot of attention and and maybe power also and to say say what they think and make it true or whatever and I'm not really looking for that I just really want to have to be able to maintain a voice on the internet and that I can do with this streaming radio streaming station that I set up at ts.com so this is the idea and I don't know really how this will play out how if I will continue with this I could just destroy destroy it if I want you know I've set it up it took a few hours here to set it up now and but maybe I keep it going if I see it's what I expected and what I wanted or maybe I just shut it down later and just have the text wiki I don't know because my idea initially was only to have text because I think text is superior simply because you you text is superior you know it's it's the kind of thing that people don't the majority isn't interested in it but it contains the important stuff the intelligent people can read it and they can still be interested youtube is really for people who want some emotional and they have a short attention span and they want fascinating fantastic stuff and sensational stuff and they want to be fast and they you know it's not the right kind of people talk to the youtubers so I want to stay away from because what I noticed youtubers won't come to my site they won't come to prophetmatthias.com in fact one to five percent of youtubers will click and go to a link outside of youtube so really people don't leave youtube if you're youtube so but you're sitting on there in their system they can change they can shadowbind you you can they can do whatever they want they can feed you and make your video viral when it's not good when you say something you shouldn't also they can make your your stuff viral to bring you down and destroy you and so on so because it's all there's a control of perception management they are they are controlling perception by their algorithms by what they promote and not promote so youtube in itself is not good but I don't know but I think a lot of people maybe they're blaming each other now sort of blame each other and bite and devour each other even within the faith alone community king inspired but why aren't they sending me money and so on I've been doing this broadcast for years now and they're not helping me and so they think they're better and they should get the money and whatever I think that exists but I also think it exists other stuff but the point is that it's not working out on youtube with this genius pirate faith alone people in my opinion it's not it's a nasty environment and it's not designed to for for for king james only and so I'm gonna I'm moving this is part of my moving away from google from these platforms like youtube and trying to become more independent of the big tech platforms so that's what I'm doing here with this this this ice cost this radio station and we see how I might upload so so you see how this works for for a while now god bless and goodbye for now I should say this is Mattias speaking as well Mattias who I had the matteric podcast a long time ago I had a podcast I think Jesus is the Christ I think it was called and I have a youtube channel account which is at disciple Mattias or or yeah at disciple Mattias youtube.com at disciple Mattias and yes I thought it would be good to have a broadcasting station I think it's good to start to try to avoid image and video as I said it's it depends on what you want to get out of your internet stuff but if if you want to keep it I don't want to if you want fame image I think is important and video is important but if you're not interested in fame then then I because image and video is that's how you can really manipulate stupid minds and so on that's how you go go into emotion and stuff and make people stop thinking and so there and things like that so I prefer uh and I also noticed as I said that the that those who focus on image and video they are a different group of listeners it's not the same as those who are into text and audio um yeah maybe people just get some of these people who are into texting or they just get too bored too quickly but if you're into if you're into audio for example you might be doing something else at the same time yeah okay but that's it for now
