God is a God that hideth himself and so also the spirit of truth is hidden to the unbelievers. They have uncircumcised ears.

(John 14:17 [KJV]) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
(Isaiah 45:15 [KJV]) Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
(Matthew 6:6 [KJV]) But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Also the Holy Ghost hideth itself.
