Intro

Jesus is the only saviour for eternal life. While Moses is more for righteous living, long life and living in abundance.

(John 1:17 [KJV]) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Jesus for eternal life

Chapter summaries Acts CHAP. XIII.
1 Paul and Barnabas are chosen to goe to the Gentiles. 7 Of Sergius Paulus, and Elymas the sorcerer. 14 Paul preacheth at Antioch, that Iesus is Christ. 42 The Gentiles beleeue: 45 but the Iewes gainesay and blaspheme: 46 whereupon they turne to the Gentiles. 48 As many as were ordained to life, beleeued.
(Acts 13:36-41 [KJV])
[36] For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
[37] But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
[38] Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
[39] And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
 [40] Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
[41] Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

We also see in Acts 13 above that Jesus Christ is the Messiah for eternal life, rather than Moses.

Moses for long life

Moses for long life and a good life.

(Exodus 15:26 [KJV]) And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Also in Proverbs:

(Proverbs 3:1-2 [KJV])
[1] My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
[2] For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Listening to the advice of Moses, that is following the commandments can stop you from getting diseases, be good to you and give you a long life.

(Psalms 55:23 [KJV]) But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

The wages of sin is death and the strength of the sin is the law.

(Romans 6:23 [KJV]) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(I Corinthians 15:56 [KJV]) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But Moses living according to Moses law did not experience physical deterioration of his body in old age.

(Deuteronomy 34:7 [KJV])
And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
