Intro

Lordship liars are people or preachers who make it an eternal salvation issue if your walk is what they consider right.

It can be do you have an employment? Do you work? They might claim that you are not eternally saved if you don't work.

It can be that they think that you are not eternally saved if you don't have a girlfriend, or a wife.

Its basically christian moral values. If you do not walk according to christian moral values then they will say that you are not eternally saved.

(Matthew 7:13-20 [KJV])
 [13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
 [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
 [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
 [16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
 [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
 [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
 [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
 [20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

These people are false prophets and or lordship salvationists and they are not eternally saved because it has not been revealed to them that eternal salvation is a work on the cross done by Jesus Christ and you are saved when you believe on Him, not works that the person does.

(John 3:16 [KJV])
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

They are the enemies of the cross because they have not themselves been eternally saved by Christ work on the cross but rather by their own works which is impossible.

(Philippians 3:18-20 [KJV])
 [18] (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
 [19] Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
 [20] For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

The gospel is hid to them that are lost. The preaching of the cross is a stumbling block to the Jew and foolishness to the Greek but to us that are saved its the power of God to salvation.

(II Corinthians 4:3-5 [KJV])
 [3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
 [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
 [5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
(I Corinthians 1:18-29 [KJV])
 [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
 [19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
 [20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
 [21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
 [22] For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
 [23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
 [24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
 [25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
 [26] For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
 [27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
 [28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
 [29] That no flesh should glory in his presence.
(Romans 1:15-25 [KJV])
 [15] So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
 [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
 [17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
 [18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
 [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
 [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
 [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
 [22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
 [23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
 [24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
 [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

The cross is foolishness to them because they have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. So therefore its hid to them. The gospel is hid to them and instead they will focus on work salvation, departing from sin, living a christian moral values life and maybe holiness or sinless perfection, because they are deceived and deceiving others as it talks about in 2tim3.

(II Timothy 3:13 [KJV]) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
