KJV discussion 20250924 part 3

Overview

This talk argues that major U.S.-based platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok) will begin enforcing California-style hate-speech rules in a way that functionally ends “U.S. free speech” on those platforms.[1] The speaker predicts large, automated over-moderation driven by transcript + AI review, heavy de-platforming risk for channels with controversial religious claims, and a coming requirement to log in with a digital ID that could enable lifetime bans. The Swedish context is used as a reference point for how hate-speech laws feel in practice.[2]

Summary

  • $1M/event platform fines → over-censorship: The talk claims California will fine platforms up to $1,000,000 per violation, pushing Big Tech to auto-flag/remove content via AI transcription + moderation tools.[1]
  • Effect on users: U.S. citizens would still have constitutional free speech, but their accounts could be deleted—so practically those views would vanish from the big platforms.[2]
  • Religious speech risk: Statements like “all Catholics/Calvinists are going to hell” are cited as examples likely to trigger automated hate-speech filters as attacks on a religious minority.[1]
  • Timeline (as claimed): Platforms begin tightening rules in 2026; by January 2027 stricter enforcement is “in force.”[2]
  • Digital ID in 2026: The speaker predicts very large platforms will require digital ID logins so bans become identity-level and permanent (no easy re-registration).[1]
  • Sweden as preview: Sweden’s long-standing hate-speech regime is presented as a model of what global platforms will feel like once these changes land.[2]

Okay So i'm going to do a little broadcast again using my uh sm 58 this microphone So this is the sm 58 that i'm speaking into right now and um It's a It's a microphone it's a kind of microphone where you really have to hold it close to your mouth to get the sound which means that It will actually not hear things that are far away there are other microphones that Will hear things that are far away equally almost as if you're close to it uh, but this kind of microphone Uh, we'll only focus on what's close to the microphone and it's quite convenient if you have a noisy background um but What I want to talk about Today our change is coming to youtube. Uh, youtube and facebook and this big tech tiktok and All these places are going to be more like the hate speech laws of sweden. So with sweden we have been living With hate speech laws for For years now and you can be arrested and spend time in jail for for hate speech and Usa have been known for freedom of speech and so there's been an asymmetry in in terms of if you're Sitting in sweden and on youtube Um, well you youtube is located in california, I think and It works under freedom of youtube Youtube under usa freedom of speech now this freedom of speech is ending It's not ending for people in the usa.

It's ending for big tech platforms So what this means then practically is that? If you commit hate speech crimes On a big tech platform like youtube or facebook or tiktok or so on Then the company will They they could face a fine up to a million dollars for each time you commit a hate speech crime On their platform and because of that The fine is so big 1 million dollars per event The the social media platforms will over censor to stop getting fined And they will use ai for this they will use transcript their transcription services to transcribe everything you say and then they will use Their ai moderation tools to to quickly find anything That is against this Law that is being passed in california now Hmm Which basically is What we have in sweden and it's basically what it means. It's it's uh uh it's uh hate or Uh, I guess I think it's hate against minority groups minority groups. It could be religious sexual Or other minority groups, I think So we have these laws in sweden and Um It's not going to be like the same because uh, basically if you're a u.s citizen and you Say something that is hateful towards a minority, but maybe a religious minority group Uh, you're not going to be arrested by cops or anything, but but you might they might delete your Your social media account to make sure you can't get them fined so what this will Be in practice is that it's going to be Basically de-platforming it's going to be people losing their their youtube channels And this would be uh, uh probably Uh be implemented in a way that is some people who are very mainstream in their Already in their channels, they will not be affected much but people who are more controversial Focus on their channel might be affected And have their channel deleted Simply so you're gonna see a change in the In the uh, how big tech looks like so it's not going to be in the usa You will still be able to say what you want You will still have free speech in in usa, but if you go on youtube as a u.s citizen and sit there and And Make videos Or even listen to videos.

You won't find any youtube. You won't find any usa free speech videos on youtube And not on facebook either because those accounts will be deleted So we in sweden we have had this for a long time and we are We we have seen this and it's a completely different environment so to speak culture and so on very Uh, and it's going to come to uh the international platforms as well then and I think it's going to be January 2007 that 2000 january 2027 Is when probably it's going to be uh put in force so to speak but uh big tech is probably going to to start uh adjusting their terms of service and their And their um also maybe start warning people and so on and etc maybe even start giving strikes and Know exactly how they will do this, but the but they will probably start already in 2026 With this um With uh You know, uh, and but exactly when they start deleting channels and so I don't know So but um So this is going to affect people who make controversial videos and I was thinking about jacksmack77 who has a Channel, I think it's a good channel. I think he does good videos, but I think that channel could be deleted because uh it you know if you Say things like all catholics are going to hell or Or so on, uh, it's possible that ai could Could uh be triggered there, uh and say that this is a hate speech against a religious minority or something And oh even calvinists all cameras are going to hell Even that might trigger As a religious minority is being targeted here.

It would say with hate speech. They would say You see how when this is what we had in sweden for years and um It's not yeah, so So channels can be deleted As this moves forward and this is a big change. We have had I've i've always been curious what's going to be in the next change.

I noticed the pandemic And how they were how youtube was, uh Criminalizing if you would pray to be healed They were criminalizing that to pray to be healed And this was part of their Medical misinformation that they did was also criminal. I think to speak some things about the covid or the pandemic or whatever What criminalizing is the wrong word? They were censoring it or they were deplatforming people Because you weren't arrested or anything, but people were given strides and warnings and had their channel shut down For speaking certain things about the covid vaccine or the pandemic or the ukraine war and Um, so this was something and i've i've i've found interesting that you could use basically big tech and youtube as a as a Early warning system for what was going on or to see what was going on because they would have to make these changes of all all their terms of service and so on and Or what you could and couldn't say and then you could from that you could actually realize What was happening? And we have the same thing coming now so they're gonna but this time it's going to be the hate speech laws, which have been So even here we see sweden as kind of a sweden could be seen but maybe not just sweden, but sweden could be seen as a Early testing ground for for the new world or some people say sweden is an early testing ground for the new world order And in this case, it fits quite well because it's hate speech laws against minority groups Have been around in sweden for a long time and and it's going to totally change uh youtube because uh These usa citizens won't be able to say What they can say now, they won't be able to say it. They will be able to say it, but they won't be able to Keep their channel that will have the channel deleted, you see but they will be able to say it And they won't be arrested either.

It would just lose their channel their youtube channel and their right to create a new channel probably because What is coming now? I I think it's starting in october, but it's going to by the end of 2026 It's going to be finalized and it's going to be the digital id and these large very large platforms like youtube you're going to have to sign in with your digital id which means that They would know it's you and they can they can ban you for life for from having a youtube channel uh Because you only have one digital id So you can't create a new channel and think you can get around it that way So that's going to be implemented during 2026
