Does God hate some people

Intro

You might ask yourself does God hate some people, some human beings or does he love everyone?

Romans 9:13
As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

God never lies so God did hate Esau. The scripture is never wrong.

But faith worketh by love.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Now what is the greatest love.

(John 3:16 [KJV]) 
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The greatest love is that God made it possible for anyone to get eternal life in heaven by simply believing in Jesus Christ.

So what about Esau? That was before the new covenant started. It was a different covenant back then.

Since faith worketh by love its important as an evangelist to point out Gods love for the subject that he is evangelizing to. Because the person wont come to faith in Jesus Christ by being told that God hates him. So from an evangelistic perspective its important to accentuate Gods love as in John 3:16. Or the evangelist will be unsuccessful in his endevour.

Not everyone is an evangelist. Believers have different gifts.

(Ephesians 4:11 [KJV]) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Though an evangelist might want to promote himself rather than Christ.

(Philippians 2:21 [KJV]) For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

But evangelism is still an important thing to be done for Jesus Christ so evangelists should be allowed to continue evangelize.
