There are people who might approach you with unusual spiritual claims, such as declaring themselves to be a god or denying the existence of Satan. From a biblical perspective, such statements are not consistent with Scripture, which teaches that Satan is a real spiritual adversary (1 Peter 5:8). I believe it is important to approach such claims with discernment and a firm grounding in the Word of God.

The Bible emphasizes the reality of Satan and his role as the deceiver. Therefore, I see such statements as misleading and untrue, reflecting a misunderstanding of spiritual truth. As Christians, our hope is that individuals who hold such beliefs may come to know the truth of Jesus Christ and find salvation through Him (John 14:6). Prayer and patience are essential when engaging with those who hold different views.

It is important to exercise caution when dealing with such individuals. Some may act out of personal gain or confusion rather than an intent to deceive. While we are called to love others and share the gospel, it is also wise to set boundaries and ensure your own spiritual safety. As the Bible says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8, KJV).

Ultimately, each person must decide how to respond, guided by the Holy Spirit and a prayerful heart. Remember to approach all interactions with grace, humility, and faith, trusting that God will provide wisdom and strength in every situation.
