The Uncorruptible Fremens

In Frank Herbert's Dune, the Fremens are a desert people. They are pragmatic and good survivors, a simple people. Herbert based them on the pre-Islamic Bedouin desert tribes.

But these tribes were corrupted by Islam. They were waiting for the Mahdi and then they embraced Islam with the Prophet Muhammad as the Mahdi. So they were corrupted by Islam. They were a corruptible tribe.

Similarly, the Fremens in Dune were corrupted by Paul Atreides, with his false religion promoted by the Bene Gesserit. He became their Mahdi and they went on a jihad, killing maybe billions across the universe.

So we can see that the Fremens are not only based on these pre-Islamic Bedouin desert tribes but also follow the same historical progression with a Mahdi and a jihad.

Now who would the real uncorruptible Fremens be? It would be the lineage in the King James Bible: Jacob, Abraham, Isaac, Judah, and their house. They were not corruptible by some Mahdi, some false religion with a false christ. They were God's chosen people.
