The New Testament [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritual_gift spiritual gift] of the prophet, which is not the same as the Old Testament office of the prophet, is described in [[1 Corinthians 14]].

We see that you cannot be a prophet or even spiritual if you don’t acknowledge that women are not to permitted to speak in the church.

We see that the spiritual gift of prophesying is the gift we should seek above all other spiritual gifts.

What is prophesying then. We see that the spirit of the prophets are subjects to the prophets. So that is how we can discern the spirit of the prophets.
