Salvation by Grace Through Faith in Jesus Christ
What I want to talk about here is that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. People who haven't believed on the Lord Jesus Christ in their lifetime—they're going to burn in hell first and then in the lake of fire. And that's a very terrible thing, because you're going to burn forever and ever, and the smoke of your torment is going to go up forever and ever to the heavens. You're going to suffer for eternity.
Think about it: if your life lasts 90 years, that's still a very short period compared to eternal suffering. So, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the wisest thing you could ever do in your lifetime. And it just takes a second to do that. You believe on Him, and when you die, you go to heaven. You've done the most important thing you could have ever done.
Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross. He died for every person here on earth. He was buried, and on the third day, He rose again. All those who believe in Him receive eternal life in heaven as a free gift. It's worth taking that moment to believe.
Let’s be clear: the Word of God is the King James Version. Not the New King James, not any other Bible. The King James Version is the true Bible. There are very small differences between different King James Bibles, but it's still the one to trust.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. That means you're now a child of God. You’ve been transferred from death to life. Before, you were spiritually dead, but now you're alive in Christ. Now you belong to God’s family.
Those who have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ—they are not children of God. They are of their father the devil. That’s what the Bible says. Spiritually speaking, there are two families in this world: the lost and the saved. Those who have God as their Father and those who have Satan as their spiritual father.
The moment you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, everything changes eternally. Make that decision. It is not about religion or works or cleaning up your life first. It is about believing.
